I bring your attention to the word continually; it is a term....seemingly out of place, unless time  might  be something other than it is today.  As if Aaron's life , away from the tabernacle was something of no substance,as if,not to exist. And with the still-image of the Turino Shroud,it might  be said to be CONTINUAL,a reminder of a monent when creation is thought to  have gone into a fit of outrage,casting up the murdered innocent,as it did also with Abel...and perhaps also, Tutankamon,the Boy  King....A MURDER FOR POWER..,BROUGHT TO LIGHT  It is argued in the New Testement,that the Priesthood and it's blood offerings ended  in Christ.

A thought:  Christ had to be very  careful in the words he used...,and who was turning an ear to hear// there were spys about...,looking for reward for turning in any rebels; in effect ,Christ was at war with the Empire,....by other means/he knew that Isreal was no match  for the Legions in a front on assault;even so,he was over time,enough of a problem....to  have a price put on his head...,ie...Judas ,and others.  This militant nature is part ofthe very image, left to us by good fortune...OR God's design.
 

Foreshadowing of the Resurrection

 Political concerns

Pialate had been willing to let Jesus go free, then was spoken "THOU ART NOT CEASAR'S FRIEND, IF THOU LET THIS MAN GO."  Pialate's fear of being under-cut by talk of his being weak and ineffective overwhelmed his better judgment. His FEAR THAT JESUS WOULD MAKE GOOD HIS REVIVAL, ON THE 3rd DAY; FEAR THAT ONE OF JESUS' FOLLOWERS WOULD STEAL THE BODY was his upmost concern.
